On the morning of November 5, Gao Hongwei, the Chairman of CASIC, and Chen Guoying, the Deputy General Manager of CASIC, attended the opening ceremony of the first China International Import Expo (CIIE), and listened to the important keynote speech delivered by President Xi Jinping.
Gao said that the holding of CIIE is a great innovation in the history of international trade, and is an important move of China to promote a new round of high-level opening-up and to actively open the Chinese market to the world. The expansion of imports has also created new channels for imports of domestic enterprises, providing new business opportunities for international cooperation and promoting the high-quality development.
