For the First Time Being Listed, CASIC Ranked the 398th in the World's 500 Most Influential Brands

On December 18, World Brand Lab released the 2018 (the fifteenth) edition of its World's 500 Most Influential Brands list in New York, U.S. “CASIC” is on the list for the first time and ranked the 398th. It is in the 7th position among the defense-related and aircraft manufacturing businesses worldwide, as well as the 35th among the Chinese brands on the list. Moreover, it is the only Chinese brand honored engaging in defense-related and aircraft manufacturing industry.

World Brand Lab is an international and professional brand research institute from the United States. Professor Robert Mundell, the winner of Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences in 1999 and “father of Euro” is the current chairman. Since 2004, there have been fifteen lists of the China’s 500 Most Influential Brands, thirteen lists of the Asia’s 500 Most Influential Brands and fifteen lists of the World’s 500 Most Influential Brands released by the Lab. The list of the World’s 500 Most Influential Brands is released based on the Lab’s investigation and research on 3,000 internationally recognized brands, and no self-nomination by any corporation is accepted by the Lab. This year, brands from 28 countries are included on the  list, including 10 brands engaging in defense-related and aircraft manufacturing industry and 38 Chinese brands, right behind the U.S. (223 brands), France (43 brands), British (42 brands) and Japan (39 brands).

In recent years, CASIC pays high attention to brand building and take a series of major moves such as “three innovations”,  “four characteristics of transformation”, “three battles” and “two ability enhancements” . The reputation and influence of CASIC in the world are significantly improved thereby. Being listed as one of the world’s 500 most influential brands is another milestone of CASIC after it is honored as China’s 500 most influential brands for two continuous years. It means that CASIC is now a worldwide first-class brand and is getting closer to its strategic objective of being “a worldwide first-class aerospace defense corporation” and “a worldwide first-class enterprise with global competitiveness”.
