On April 29, CASIC held the Symposium on 2019 World Intellectual Property Day. Chen Guoying, a member of the Party Leading Group and Deputy General Manager of CASIC, attended the Symposium and delivered a speech.
Chen Guoying put forward four requirements according to the priorities of intellectual property management of CASIC in 2019: First, continue to fight the critical battle of quality improvement, enhance the coupling degree of intellectual property rights and innovation activities and promote simultaneous improvement of the number, quality and effect of intellectual property rights; second, continue to fight the critical battle of structural adjustment and constantly optimize the intellectual property structure; third, continue to fight the critical battle of change of growth model, strengthen transformation of intellectual property rights and vigorously expand intellectual property services; fourth, firmly establish the awareness of intellectual property protection to avoid infringing others’ rights and interests and meanwhile actively protecting the rights and interests of ourselves.
Experts of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. were also invited to the Symposium to give lectures on how to better carry out the work related to intellectual property.
