On June 3, CASIC held the party leading group meeting to convey guiding principles from the education meeting themed on “Remain True to Our Original Aspiration and Keep Our Mission Firmly in Mind”; to learn the spirit of the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping; to review the Plan of CASIC for Implementation of Education Themed on “Remain True to Our Original Aspiration and Keep Our Mission Firmly in Mind” so as to lay a solid foundation for further implementing the guiding principles of the meeting.
The meeting was held by Gao Hongwei, Secretary of the Party Leading Group and President of CASIC, and attended by the following people: Liu Shiquan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leading Group and General Manager, Xu Qiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leading Group, Wei Yiyin, member of the Party Leading Group and Deputy General Manager, Liu Chuandong, member of the Party Leading Group and Chief Accountant, Chen Guoying, member of the Party Leading Group and Deputy General Manager, Lin Qing, Leader of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Team and member of the Party Leading Group, and Gong Bo, member of the Party Leading Group and Deputy General Manager.
On the meeting, participants learned the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping and the summary made by Comrade Wang Huning on the education meeting themed on “remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind”. Through learning, the Party Leading Group of CASIC believes that the important speech made by General Secretary Xi Jinping illustrated the significance of the theme education, specified the targets, missions and basic requirements of theme education and pointed out the direction and provided guidance for conducting theme education.
The Party Leading Group of CASIC will, according to the arrangement of the Party Central Committee and under the guidance of the 28th Guiding Group of the Party Central Committee, launch as soon as possible the education themed on “remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind” on the whole, and combine theme education with the completion of the task of balancing reform, development and stability, with the work of “stabilizing growth, promoting reform, adjusting structure, benefiting people’s livelihood, preventing risks and keeping stability”, and with the implementation of ongoing tasks arranged by the Party Central Committee. During the whole process of study and education, investigation and research, problem examination, rectification and implementation, the Party Leading Group of CASIC will conscientiously study the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping, examine prominent problems concerning ideals, faith and feelings as well as the sense of mission and responsibility and draw close to keeping original aspiration, understanding our aspiration and fulfilling our aspiration; conscientiously study the Party Constitution and the reports delivered on the 19th CPC National Congress, examine striking problems during high-quality development, make the “14th Five-year Plan” and striving for construction of a space power; conscientiously study the thoughts of President Xi Jinping on building strong armies, examine noticeable problems in model development and production and endeavor to be strong enough to fight and win battles.
As stressed by Gao Hongwei at the end of the meeting, the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping is what we should focus on during study. After preliminary study of the important speech on this Party Leading Group Meeting, CASIC will later organize further study and discussion for corresponding fields according to relevant requirements.
