In the run-up to the National 18th “Work Safety Month”, according to the Notice of the Office of the Safety Committee of the State Council on Launching 2019 National “Work Safety Month” and “Work Safety Circuit” Campaigns as well as requirements of relevant superior departments, CASIC, according to its own actual situation, printed a special notice on organization of the 2019 National “Work Safety Month” and “Work Safety Circuit” Campaigns.
These campaigns are guided by the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, themed on “risk prevention, potential hazard elimination and accident prevention”, focused on “safety of dangerous chemicals” and characterized by a series of distinctly themed and informative publicity activities, and various tasks of preventing and dissolving major safety risks, timely eliminating potential safety hazards, resolutely preventing work safety accidents and resolvedly safeguarding production and operation. In these campaigns, major decisions and plans made by the Party Central Committee and the State Council on work safety will be implemented.
According to the unified deployment of the Office of the Safety Committee of the State Council, and the requirements of the Notice for Launching 2019 National “Work Safety Month” Campaign, CASIC will hold in an all-round manner the following activities among all units and departments to fully strengthen press publicity and social supervision and form a good atmosphere of work safety: including such national activities as Thematic Education for Enterprises, Development Safety Forum, Event of “6·16” National Safety Publicity and Consulting Day, Safety Warning, Popularization and Publicity Activity, Emergency Drill, and such self-created activities as Talk of Work Safety Responsibilities, Debate on Work Safety, and Warning and Education Video Clips.
In addition, the “Work Safety Circuit” Campaign mainly includes such national activities as Enterprise Special Work Safety Circuit and “Online Work Safety Circuit”, and such self-created activities as work safety inspection and rectification of potential safety hazards, special event of “minimizing danger points and operators” and exposure of potential accident hazards.
According to the Notice, all units shall closely center on the theme and stick to principles of “party committees and governments of all levels sharing the same responsibility, both safety and work responsibilities assigned for one post, making coordinated efforts for safety management and imposing punishment for delinquencies”, further setting off a craze of studying and implementing important statements of General Secretary Xi Jinping on work safety; various activities with distinctive themes should be carried out according to the actual situation and should be publicized dynamically with the help of various news outlets; closed-loop management of work safety should be promoted and work safety inspection and rectification of potential safety hazards should be deepened; outstanding units, individuals and works selected in various work safety publicity activities should be praised and encouraged; reports about implementation of work safety activities should be timely prepared and submitted.
