The 2019 World Industrial and Energy Internet Expo themed on “Industrial Internet, Cloud Manufacturing, and New Energy Empowered by Data” was held in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province on June 20. On the Expo, the cloud marketing platform based on CASICloud of CASIC was formally released in Changzhou, further advancing the building Changzhou cloud manufacturing industry cluster.

The Expo was guided by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, National Energy Administration, Jiangsu Provincial Government and CASIC, and organized by Changzhou Municipal Government, Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu, Energy Bureau of Jiangsu Province and CASICloud, and supported by the Alliance of Industrial Internet and CASICloud (Jiangsu) Company. Liu Shiquan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leading Group and General Manager of CASIC attended the Expo and delivered a speech. Chai Xudong, General Manager of CASICloud and Deputy Secretary of CPC delivered a keynote speech.

Liu Shiquan pointed out in his speech on the Expo that industrial Internet is becoming the national new industrial infrastructure to meet the high-quality economic development of China and the internal need of enterprise transformation and upgrading. Upholding the concepts of “information exchange, resource sharing, coordinated efforts, opening up and cooperation, mutual benefit and win-win progress”, CASIC is now promoting CASICloud platform, the industrial Internet platform featured by cloud manufacturing in the development mode of “basic platform + regional industrial cloud + sector-based industrial cloud”, and plans to build ecological networks of cloud manufacturing industry clusters in “nine cities of seven regions”. Among them, Changzhou, the important strategic support for the Yangtze River Delta region, is the dominating center for industrial Internet platform strategy and will inject new vitality for coping and promotion in other regions.

Liu Shiquan stressed that industrial Internet is an important engine for “enterprise transformation and upgrading and high-quality development” in the new era, which requires both the government and enterprises to put into play their advantages and explore a new industrialization path for regional development and economic transformation. With the great support of Jiangsu Province and Changzhou City, the “Changzhou mode” of one horizontal axis with multiple longitudinal branches of CASICloud is forming. CASIC is put into full play its advantages in technology and product resources, and aligning in an all-round manner with Changzhou City in technology research and development, industry building, market cooperation, investment and merger and acquisition to set an example of cooperation between central enterprises and local governments; actively fulfill the responsibilities and missions of military enterprises; serve national strategies, national defense security and national welfare and the people’s livelihood; promote high-quality development of manufacturing industry of China through industrial Internet.

On the Sub-Forum for Construction and Application of Industrial Internet Integrated Platform, CASIC formally released “Changzhou Cloud Marketing” APP, the application for cloud marketing of Changzhou City. Changzhou Cloud Marketing APP is the first successful practice of scaled application of cloud marketing mode. Based on the good industrial foundation of Changzhou, a cloud integrated platform is constructed to integrate local resources collected in a centralized way, promote centralized cross-organization and cross-enterprise purchasing and create the industrial chain ecosystem with regional characteristics of Changzhou. Changzhou Cloud Marketing APP first aims at specialty industries of Changzhou. Guided by the government and supported by policies, enterprises are encouraged to adopt the new path of cloud marketing to support Changzhou in building regional and sector-based cloud manufacturing industry clusters. This is of exemplary significance and has promotional value.

On the sub-forum, CASIC Asset Management Co., Ltd. set up the “Changzhou Industrial and Energy Internet Fund” with the Changzhou Municipal Government, U.S.-China Green Fund, government of Tianning District of Changzhou City, and signed an agreement with them witnessed by Liu Shiquan and Ding Chun, Mayor of the Changzhou City.

On this Expo, relevant intelligent energy equipment products of CASIC were displayed in a centralized way. The following products attracted wide attention: microgrid service clouds based on smart city, WMWD (wireless measurement while drilling) systems and pipe magnetic flux leakage detectors, protection and remote monitoring system of key facilities and key pipelines, YF200 ultra-high temperature open hole rapid logging platforms, oil rig full-life-cycle safety detection systems and remote information centers for drilling and fracturing based on the Internet and cloud platforms.

Achievements in application of industrial and energy Internet in such aspects as artificial intelligence, digitalized factories and construction of smart cities as well as production practice were displayed on the Expo. The mode of enterprise cloud manufacturing based on “one horizontal axis with multiple longitudinal branches” and “five-star cloud-based deployment” created by CASICloud becomes an example that can be followed, and convincingly defines the mode of “Internet + advanced manufacturing industry” adopted by CASICloud.

More than 30 enterprise representatives from CASICloud, Huawei, Royal Academy of Engineering and Industrial Internet Consortium as well as domestic and overseas experts shared achievements in application and practice, and exploration and expectations centering on such hot topics as industrial Internet, artificial intelligence, cloud computing and big data, communication and connectivity, and energy Internet. The Expo was attended by more than 1,000 experts and representatives of governments, enterprises, industrial associations, scientific research institutions, and colleges and universities.
