CASIC Graded A for the 12th Consecutive Year in Evaluation of Operation Performance of Central Enterprises
On July 15, the SASAC of the State Council unveiled the results for evaluation of operation performance of heads of centrally-administered state-owned enterprises (SOEs) for the terms of 2018 and from 2016-2018. CASIC was graded A in both terms, making the list’s top ten central SOEs for the first time. Meanwhile, CASIC was honored as the “Enterprise with Excellent Performance” and the “Enterprise with Outstanding Contribution in Technological Innovation”.
For 2018, CASIC was graded A for the 12th consecutive year for its remarkable operation performance, ranking 10th among the central SOEs, making the list’s top ten central SOEs for the first time.
For the term from 2016-2018, CASIC was graded A for the 4th consecutive term for its remarkable operation performance, ranking 6th among the central SOEs, making the list’s top ten central SOEs for the first time.
For the terms of 2018 and from 2016-2018, CASIC successfully accomplished the business performance objectives set by the SASAC by making efforts in the following aspects: remained committed to the new development philosophy, concentrated on the strategic orientation of “serving national strategies, serving national defense construction and serving national welfare and people's livelihood”; fulfilled the corporate mission of “strengthening the army by technological development and serving the country by aerospace development”; held onto “three innovations (technical, commercial mode and management innovations)” and followed the guidance of “four modernizations (industrial, agricultural, national defense, and science and technology modernizations)”; focused on winning the “three hard battles” of quality improving, structural adjustment and transformation of development modes; formulated strategies, built teams, laid foundations and concentrated in grassroots work and Party construction to vigorously promote high-quality development.
