On July 5, CASIC carried out an exchange with CHINA RAILWAY on the education campaign on the theme of "staying true to our founding mission".
The meeting was chaired by Gao Hongwei and attended by the following people: Lu Dongfu, Chairman of the Board and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of CHINA RAILWAY, Yang Yudong, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of CHINA RAILWAY, as well as Gao Hongwei, Chairman of the Board and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of CASIC, Liu Shiquan, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of CASIC, Xu Qiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of CASIC, Liu Chuandong, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Chief Accountant, Lin Qing, Leader of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Team and Member of the Party Leadership Group, and Gong Bo, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy General Manager of CASIC.
At the meeting, Gao introduced CASIC's implementation of the education campaign on the theme of "staying true to our founding mission" as well as the implementation of "261" series initiatives developed to deepen the education campaign throughout the system. He hoped that both parties would focus on scientific and technological innovation and strengthen cooperation to make contributions to the better and faster development of China's railway transportation.
Lu Dongfu expressed his admiration for the achievements made by CASIC in the field of defense-related science and technology and the accomplishments in the education campaign. He hoped that both parties could further deepen cooperation to jointly write a new chapter on serving the national welfare and people's livelihood.
