On July 1, CASIC held a grand flag-raising ceremony at its Headquarters to celebrate the 98th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. All leaders of the Party Leadership Group of CASIC and all the staff of the Headquarters attended the ceremony.
Gao Hongwei, Chairman of the Board and Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of CASIC, Liu Shiquan, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of CASIC, Xu Qiang, Deputy Secretary of Party Leadership Group of CASIC, Wei Yiyin, Deputy General Manager and Member of the Party Leadership Group of CASIC, Liu Chuandong, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Chief Accountant, Chen Guoying, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy General Manager, Lin Qing, Leader of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Team and Member of the Party Leadership Group, and Gong Bo, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy General Manager, as well as all the staff of the Headquarters attended the ceremony.
In the early morning of July 1, the Chinese National Anthem and the Song of CASIC were played at the same time in CASIC's all affiliates in Beijing, Wuhan, Hohhot, Tianjin, Changsha and other cities. At this moment, the bright five-star red flag and CASIC's company flag rose up slowly. This was a solemn ceremony for the 150,000 staff of CASIC to celebrate the 98th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 20th anniversary of the founding of CASIC.
While thoroughly carrying out the education campaign on the theme of "staying true to our founding mission", CASIC held a flag-raising ceremony to commemorate the Party's remarkable achievements, keep firmly in mind the Party's purpose, pass on the Party's proud traditions, implement the general requirements of Party construction in the new era, lead all the Party members and all the staff of CASIC to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, stay true to our founding mission and strive to build CASIC to a world-leading aerospace defense corporation with global competitiveness.
Since CASIC has reached a new historical starting point, the Party Leadership Group of CASIC requires that all the Party members and all the staff of CASIC should enhance the consciousness of the need to maintain political integrity, think in big-picture terms, uphold the leadership core, and keep in alignment, strengthen confidence in the path, theory, system, and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and safeguard Xi's status as the core of the CPC Central Committee and the whole Party and the authority and centralized and unified leadership of the CPC Central Committee, fulfill the sacred mission of "thriving through science and technology and serving the country through aerospace industry development", and make new and greater contributions to implementing various tasks in respect of "serving national strategies, serving national defense construction and serving national welfare and people's livelihood", to exploring the vast universe, developing the aerospace industry and building an aerospace power, to realizing the country's two centenary goals and to fulfilling the Chinese dream of national rejuvenation.
