CASIC and SAIC Motor Corporation Limited will jointly launch unmanned driving concept vehicles by the end of 2014

Recently, the strategic cooperation project between the Third Academy of CASIC and SAIC Motor was officially launched. Both sides proposed the R&D and cooperation in unmanned driving technology, application of new materials, new tracking technology and other aspects.
A strategic research report on the unmanned driving technology will be completed and the SAIC Motor unmanned driving concept vehicle project will be completed by the end of 2014. The long-term goal is to independently research and develop key technologies for unmanned driving vehicles, gain a full understanding of the core technology, and gradually realize mass production.
