On June 15, the 2020 International Conference on Industrial Internet themed on "New Era, New Infrastructure, Industrial Internet --- Empowered, Convergence, Ecology" kicked off on the cloud.

One of the highlights at this Conference was the release of China's first talent evaluation standard for the industrial Internet industry and the CASICloud New Infrastructure Platform Strategy.
Gathering Wisdom on the Cloud --- Boosting New Development of the Industrial Internet
Recently, the Central Government of China has made important plans to speed up the construction of new infrastructure. According to Gao Hongwei, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of CASIC, China's infrastructure construction is currently at the stage of building an infrastructure system with the aim to provide industrial governance, information governance, ecological governance and security governance services. The infrastructure serving the above-mentioned four types of governance is called new infrastructure. It is an inevitable requirement of supply-side structural reform and an important basic support for upgrading the modernization of China's system and capacity for governance. Industrial Internet is the infrastructure of industrial governance and also an important part of new infrastructure. As a national cross-industry and cross-discipline industrial Internet platform, CASICloud is an industrial Internet platform elaborately developed by CASIC to provide intelligent, collaborative and cloud manufacturing-related public services. It is committed to creating an ecosystem of cloud industry clusters benefiting high-end manufacturing and small and micro enterprises, and promoting the transformation and upgrading of enterprises.
As pointed out by Liu Shiquan in his speech at the conference, industrial Internet will bring new development opportunities for the cluster breakthrough, collaborative innovation and integrated application of the new-generation information technology. This Conference responds to the urgent need of the digital development of economy and society for the "new digital infrastructure" represented by the industrial Internet platform. It provides a platform for the attendees to jointly discuss the deep application of industrial Internet, thus jointly promoting the digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises, and pushing forward the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry and the high-quality development of the real economy.
As stressed by Liu, the integration of informatization and real economy is the only way leading to the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry. CASIC should not only accelerate its own digital transformation, but also give full play to the role of a national team of central state-owned enterprises, thus leading the coordinated development of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. With its system-level industrial application of "one brain, one cockpit, two studios, two stations and one data mining subsystem", CASICloud provides services for the whole society. The cloud manufacturing support system, CMSS, has formed an integrated solution for intelligent, collaborative and cloud manufacturing, and released nearly 10,000 professional capabilities including product design, manufacturing and commercial support. An industrial Internet convergence platform of central state-owned enterprises has been established in cooperation with 30 central state-owned enterprises, effectively integrating the supply chain by providing an "epidemic prevention zone of the convergence platform of central state-owned enterprises" and an "industrial Internet application service platform for epidemic prevention and control supplies". 11 provincial and municipal industrial Internet platforms have been built to serve the transformation and upgrading of local manufacturing enterprises through "regional industrial cloud + sector-based industrial cloud". To serve the implementation of the "Belt and Road" Initiative, the international cloud platform of CASICloud is used to support users along the "Belt and Road" to carry out deep cooperation in terms of scientific and technological innovation, cross-border enterprise services and international talent exchange, thus achieving coordinated development.
According to Liu, CASIC will do the following: Continue to further promote the construction and application of the industrial Internet convergence platform of central state-owned enterprises, and improve the capability of the industrial chain; further advance the internal and external pilot application of products, and continuously optimize the functions by loop iteration; further mine platform data assets and nourish the real economy with data resources; further strengthen deep cooperation with local governments in the field of industrial Internet, and push forward the construction of ecosystem of cloud manufacturing industrial clusters; further meet users' needs to provide independent, safe and controllable infrastructure for more enterprises to catch up with the fast development of the industrial Internet; further give full play to the comparative advantage of integration of large system engineering and information governance capabilities, thus making new and greater contributions to promoting the modernization of China's system and capacity for governance.
At the conference, the attendees analyzed the rich connotation and development path of the industrial Internet in the context of new infrastructure from a global perspective, shared hot-spot and cutting-edge information, explored current challenges and future prospects, and offered advice and suggestions for promoting the development of global industrial Internet.
At the conference, experts from home and abroad delivered keynote speeches on hot topics including: empowering the industrial Internet with new infrastructure, research and practice of modeling and simulation technology oriented by cloud manufacturing system 3.0 engineering, and soundly building new infrastructure for active immunity + the security line for industrial Internet.
At the same time, 5 special sub-forums were held at the conference, including Sub-forum on Digital Government Administration, Sub-forum on Industrial Internet Convergence Development of Central Enterprises, Sub-forum on Industrial Internet Platform Technology, Sub-forum on Industry-education Integration of Industrial Internet, and Sub-forum on Industrial Internet Security. Masters from the political, industrial, academic and research circles were invited to give analysis and exchange views in an all-round way in combination with the situation of new infrastructure, and talk about the integrative and innovation-driven development path of new infrastructure.
Official Release of China's First Talent Evaluation Standard for the Industrial Internet Industry
China's first talent evaluation standard for the industrial Internet industry, i.e. Post Capability Requirements for Talents in the Industrial Internet Industry, was officially released at the conference. The standard is the first standard research result of post capability requirements in the field of industrial Internet in China. It is jointly prepared by more than ten relevant organizations under the leadership of the Talent Exchange Center of the MIIT and under the responsibility of CASICloud-Tech Co., Ltd. (chief editor) and CAICT.
According to 3 major systems (i.e. network, platform and security) of the industrial Internet and the talent demand of the industrial Internet industry, and focusing on 41 posts in 8 sectors (network, identification, platform, industrial big data, security, margin, application and operation) of the industrial Internet industry, the standard covers essential factors of post capabilities for talents in the industrial Internet industry from 4 aspects: comprehensive ability, specialized knowledge, technical skills and engineering practice ability.
The standard will further guide people from all walks of life to focus on the requirements of talent cultivation oriented by industrial demand and based on post capability, and is of profound significance to China in accelerating the talent cultivation for the industrial Internet.
Release of CASIC's CASICloud New Infrastructure Platform Strategy
The CASICloud New Infrastructure Platform Strategy themed on "New Chapter" was unveiled at the conference. By closely linking to the main line of new infrastructure, and focusing on application scenarios and users' needs, CASICloud changes its strategic direction from "focusing on platform construction" to "placing equal emphasis on platform construction and operation, with application scenarios as the core and creation of user value as the priority", striving to get through the "last kilometer" for users, and further sticking on the development strategic goal of building CASICloud into an international leading and domestic advanced industrial Internet platform.

On-line Full-view Exhibition of Achievements in Construction of Industrial Internet Platform
This Conference on Industrial Internet was held online for the first time, attended by guests at home and abroad and watched by global audience on the cloud through live streaming online. It is reported that an on-line exhibition hall was created to show CASICloud's construction achievements in the past five years in an all-round way.
From the First Industrial Internet Summit in 2017 to the International Conference on Industrial Internet in 2020, the conference has been held for four consecutive years.
