Recently, CASIC Social Responsibility Report (2019) was officially released in the Centralized Release Campaign of Social Responsibility Report of Central Enterprises (2020) sponsored by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC). This is the 12th social responsibility report continuously released by CASIC since 2008.
The report fully disclosed the progress made by CASIC in the management of corporate social responsibility in 2019 and its achievements in the practice of fulfilling corporate social responsibility from the aspects of national security, economic development, innovation-driven development, strategic cooperation, employee growth, honesty and law-abiding, low-carbon environmental protection and social welfare.
The year 2019 is an important year to fully implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and also a crucial year to win the first hundred-year goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way. At the same time, it is also the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 20th anniversary of the establishment of CASIC. The weapons and equipment developed and produced by CASIC made a magnificent appearance in the military parade to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. CASIC has made great progress in major projects, major special tasks and key model tasks undertaken in many countries, developed rapidly in new kinetic energy industry, made breakthrough in international operations, and made fruitful achievements in pilot program of "Double-Hundred Actions" for SOE reform, building of talent team, scientific and technological innovation, etc.
The year 2020 is the closing year for China to build a moderately prosperous society in all respects and the 13th Five-Year Plan. At a new historical starting point, CASIC will unite more closely around CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, with Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of "not claiming credit but always making sure to contribute their share to the success of the cause", work together and forge ahead, strive to build a world-leading aerospace and defense company, and fully support the construction of a world-class military power, so as to contribute the realization of China's dreams of becoming an aerospace power, a military power and the Chinese dream, to the achievement of "two centenary" goals and to building a modern and powerful socialist country.
