On January 26, CASIC held the 2021 work conference in Beijing. At the conference, the Corporation grandly commended the advanced party branch, excellent communist party members, advanced collectives, advanced individuals, anti-epidemic pioneer collective and individuals in fighting COVID-19. Yuan Jie, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of CASIC, and other leading comrades presented awards to the winners.
After the outbreak of the COVID-19, the Party Central Committee, with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, acted swiftly and made thorough arrangements in such emergency.
The Party Leadership Group of CASIC earnestly studied the spirit of instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on fighting the epidemic, resolutely obeyed the unified command, coordination and dispatch of the Party Central Committee and responded swiftly to make overall deployment as the most important and urgent political task.
The Party members and cadres of CASIC lived up to the trust of the Party and the people, and gave full play to their pioneering role in the front line, with the party flag flying high on the front line of the fight against the epidemic; the medical workers carried forward the noble spirit of saving lives and helping the wounded, sacrificed themselves to save lives without hesitation; a number of units under CASIC made due contributions to the establishment of shelter hospitals, ventilator development and in other ways. They have made important contributions to winning the COVID-19 battle. Their heroic deeds are touching and inspiring, and highlighted the remarkable advantages of the leadership of the Communist Party of China and the socialist system with Chinese characteristics, showed the persevering Chinese national spirit and the power of unity; they are heroic anthem of the aerospace people who stand together through thick and thin.
Through the commendation, we vigorously carried forward the great anti-epidemic spirit of saving life, unity, self-sacrifice and respecting science, stimulating the sense of responsibility, mission and honor of the cadres and workers of the Corporation; we pooled the strong positive energy of the people to overcome difficulties, to promote the modernization of the national governance system and governance capacity, and contributing aerospace wisdom and aerospace power to the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country.
