On May 7, Yuan Jie, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of CASIC, Gong Bo, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy General Manager, and his party came to Aluminum Corporation of China and met with Yao Lin, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and President of CHINALCO, Feng Guiquan and Dong Jianxiong, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy General Manager. With the mission of better supporting and serving the national strategy, the two parties discussed the topics of jointly promoting the innovation and self-sufficiency of high-performance key raw materials and ensuring the stability of the supply chain of special non-ferrous metal materials for aerospace, and signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The heads of relevant departments of both sides attended the meeting.
Yuan Jie said that CASIC and CHINALCO share common grounds for cooperation. He expressed his hope that, in the future, the two sides will, following the national strategy, build joint teams to carry out key technology research jointly in high strength, light weight and new performance aluminum materials; deepen cooperation in the material supply and demand market to ensure a safe and stable industrial chain and bolster competitiveness; expand the cooperation in information technology application innovation, jointly promote the formation of all-factor, multi-discipline cooperation and development pattern, seize the strategic opportunity of development, to promote the high-quality development of both sides, and start a new journey of cooperation.
Yao Lin welcomed the visit of Yuan Jie and his delegation. He pointed out that CASIC is an important partner of CHINALCO, and in the future, CHINALCO will further deepen cooperation with CASIC, strengthen communication, enhance technical research and development to meet the demand, deepen cooperation in non-ferrous metal materials for aerospace in accordance with the principle of "equality and mutual benefit, achieving mutual complementarity, resource sharing and common development". He hoped that the signing of this strategic cooperation agreement will lead to a new situation of win-win cooperation.
