CASIC Launches its Quality Month Events

In accordance with the requirements of 2011 national quality month event, CASIC will launch a series of activities. CASIC headquarter has informed its subsidiaries to carry out corresponding events as per headquarter requirements.
The theme for this year's quality month is "Quality First and Formost".CASIC HQ has instructed its subsidiaries to insist on product quality, enhance quality management, improve technical level and quality standards; continue to study and implement the spirit and requirements of Weapons and Equipments Quality Management Regulations; further strengthen quality control, effectively reduce potential quality hazards, improve awareness of quality problems in order to accomplish major projects successfully; complete and implement quality management codes in accordance with CASIC Quality Culture Construction Framework 2011-2015 and each subsidiary's R&D progress, management level and quality control standards; provide quality-related education and training to all levels of staff, take necessary actions to ensure the smooth implementation of CASIC quality requirements.
During the quality month, a number of events will be organized e.g. the 2nd CASIC Component Reliability Seminar, 2011 Quality and Reliability Workshop and CASIC Measurement Conference. CASIC will, in the duration of the quality month, finalize the evaluation of 9 universal criteria for quality control systems; instruct the subsidiaries to complete and improve their quality management systems; organize CASIC's annual 6S Quality Control Leadership event.
To facilitate work progress, CASIC headquarter has 3 requirements for its subsidiaries: effectively organize related events and activities; impart quality-related training and enhance awareness; periodically evaluate results for further improvement.
