From February 20 to 21, 2017, under the direction of the MIIT, China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) and China Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC) held the 2017 Industrial Internet Summit in Beijing with the theme of “Industrial Internet Forges an integrated Win-Win Future”. State officers and scholars, including Miao Wei, the Minister of the MIIT, Chen Zhaoxiong, a Vice Minister of the MIIT, Zhuang Rongwen, a Deputy Director of Central Network Security and Informationization Leading Group, Li Bohu and Ni Guangnan, Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Gao Hongwei, the Chairman of CASIC, and Wei Yiyin, a Vice President, attended this summit.
Gao introduces CASICloud to Miao
Before the opening ceremony, Miao visited CASIC’s Industrial Internet Booth in the accompany of Gao and Wei. Gao reported the situation of the industrial Internet platform-CASICloud to Miao. Miao expressed his recognition to CASIC’s exploration and practice in the industrial Internet area and the achievements obtained since the establishment of CASICloud.
In this summit, CASIC is invited as the leading power in China’s industrial Internet field and the Deputy Director Organization of the IIC. Gao gave a keynote speech themed with CASICloud: Trail, Inspiration and Planning in this summit.
Gao pointed out that CASIC is going to forge CASICloud into a domestic first-class and internationally-renowned public industrial Internet platform. After 19 months’ efforts, CASIC has obtained preliminary progress on CASICloud.
Gao believed that with a more urgent pursuit in innovations, changes and development, the private enterprises and the SMEs are more willing to accept new stuff and have stronger demand for innovation. Therefore, in the next few years, CASICloud will continue its efforts to involve the SMEs and private enterprises, so as to further lay a solid foundation for the development of China’s industrial Internet.
Speaking of CASICloud’s development, Gao noted that by the end of 2017, there would be more than one million enterprises registered in CASICloud, the annual Cloud-based business requirements release amount would be over 100 billion and 35% to 50% Cloud projects would reach real cooperation. This would benefit thousands of enterprises to save more than billions in overall cost.
Accelerating the progress under the guidance of strategy
As a state-owned large-scale high-tech enterprise directly managed by the central government, CASIC, takes “cloud manufacturing” raised by academician Li Bohu as the basic theory, to build the industrial Internet platform--CASICloud.
With "Information Exchange, Resource Sharing, Capacity Collaboration, Open Cooperation and Win-Win Outcome" as the core philosophies, and based on CASIC’s strong scientific, technological and manufacturing capabilities, CASICloud has generated 12 core business-covered cloud manufacturing solutions. As of now, CASICloud has over 560,000 online users, over 120 shareware, over 15,000 patents and more than 35,000 standards. Its overall transaction amount has passed RMB 21.8 billion.
Building platform to establish industrial Internet ecosystem
During the platform promotion, Chai Xudong, a vice General Manager of CASICloud, officially released 12 services of CASICloud, namely: website O&M; developing lower-layer software for intelligent, collaborative and Cloud manufacturing; cloud-based enterprise intelligentization; product and manufacturing resource sharing & coordination; industrial big data and its application; quality certification of cloud manufacturing; credit certification of cloud-based enterprises; cloud-based third-party payment and financial service; open “dual innovation” of cloud manufacturing applications (CMAPPs); data and platform security of industrial Internet; structuring the industrial Internet standard architecture and preparing relevant standards; and construction and training of the industrial Internet colleges.
At present, based on the hardware and software manufacturing resources and supported by the Internet and the platform, a new industrial infrastructure has taken shape. Meanwhile, with kj.casicloud.com and GUIZHOU IND Cloud as the platforms, CASICloud has completed its layout in 8 regions, which is pushing forward the entire industrial Internet industry. CASICloud will transform and upgrade the traditional manufacturing industries and support the enterprises innovations in emerging areas to forge a cloud ecosystem compatible with intelligent manufacturing and collaborative manufacturing.
Advanced technologies bring effective marketing
In recent years, CASIC has been actively pursuing the development of industrial Internet and stroving to improve the influence of the China IIC. CASIC took the lead and prepared Industrial Internet Guide for Device Intelligentization, and co-authored with ECIT in the completion of Industrial Internet Technology System. These industry standard files were published in this summit for the first time. Meanwhile, CASICloud has been listed into the application cases in the industry development section, while the “Cloud manufacturing service platform” and the “Intelligent factory based on secure and controllable Cloud platform” have been admitted as the demonstrative platforms of the validation of the Alliance. CASIC is always persisting in innovation to bring a brand new manufacturing development mode for China.
A special industrial Internet exhibition was presented during this summit. CASIC exhibited 12 key CASICloud services, cloud-based manufacturing solutions and its successful practices in intelligent factory construction, to share her achievements and experience with peers and the enterprises in other industries.
At present, industrial Internet has become the vital drive for industrial innovation and transformation. With nation-oriented, technology and market driven military-civilian integration as the general principle, CASIC will go deep into the construction of industrial Internet platform to promote the full advancement of further military-civilian integration.
