The forum was co-hosted by CASIC and the Municipal People’s Government of Chengdu. It is expected that the number of participants will be 350 or more. In addition, the forum will be broadcast online to realize online-offline synchronization so as to meet the requirements of different groups.
Driven by the “Made in China 2025” and related policies, historical opportunities have been brought about for the development of industrial Internet in China. A group of predominant enterprises in the industry and the field have carried out the exploration and practice in respect of the industrial Internet based on their own understanding. As the key central enterprise with excellent brands, complete systems and advanced technologies, CASIC set up the first industrial Internet--CASICloud in the world and China. Based on China’s national conditions and the general trend of development of the industry in the information era, CASICloud designed the framework of mission for the industrial Internet in China: the industrial Internet shall be able to support the intelligent manufacturing, collaborative manufacturing and cloud manufacturing in industrial enterprises, the intelligent operation of enterprises, enterprises interacting with users from product customization to after-sales service, business activities among enterprises based on “Information Exchange, Resource Sharing, Capability Coordination, Open Cooperation and Win-win Outcome” and the establishment of an ecosystem featuring with “enterprises being organized while resources being released”, “enterprises being provided with products while manufacturing being unrestricted”, “enterprises being endowed with scale while capabilities being unconstrained” and “enterprises being engaged in marketing while market being barrier-free”.
On the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of the launching of CASICloud, the industrial Internet platform and relevant standards of CASIC will be released to the world on June 15 to demonstrate excellent practical activities implemented by CASIC and its partners in the industry chain in the process of establishment of the ecosystem for the industrial Internet. It will promote exchanges among public figures in industries related to the industrial Internet, strengthen mutual understanding of decision makers and researchers and promote the progress and development of the industrial Internet in China.
