Five Employees of CASIC Elected as Members of IAA in 2017

  Recently, the list of new members and corresponding members of the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) in 2017 was released. Li Yue, Feng Zhigao, Pan Xudong and Li Lixin from CASIC were elected as the members of the Division of Social Sciences, and Du Jichen was elected as the member of the Division of Life Sciences.

IAA is a non-governmental international academic organization. Its members are from the Division of Basic Sciences, Division of Technological Sciences, Division of Life Sciences and Division of Social Sciences. Its goal is to encourage the development of aerospace for peaceful purposes, commend individuals who have made outstanding contributions in related fields of science and technology, provide projects to enable members to make contribution to international aerospace undertakings through those projects and cooperate in the field of advanced aerospace sciences.
