It is known from the 3rd China Commercial Aerospace Forum held on August 30 that “Kuaiyun” being developed by CASIC is the pioneering project in China. As one of the five commercial aerospace projects of CASIC, “Kuaiyun” can be used for geohydrological observation for the ground, major disaster monitoring and temporary airborne communication.
In the progress of “Kuaiyun”, CASIC has introduced an innovative management mode, featuring with great union of internal and external organizations with technical advantages, cross-organization establishment of IPT R&D teams, strengthening the top-management planning to focus on product realization, innovating business mode to reduce the risk of fund investment and giving full play to the advantages of the aerospace system engineering for simultaneous implementation of multiple business activities and step-by-step implementation. Based on the management innovation, CASIC conducted the demonstration work in the process of design and verification, identified targets to realize simultaneous promoting of multiple business activities, running quickly with short steps and fast promotion and continuously promoted a number of key technological breakthroughs.
