On August 2, 2018, CASIC held the second leader team meeting of the Three Year Special Action (hereinafter referred to as the Three Year Action) for building the digital R&D production system to summarize the overall work of Three Year Action for the recent period and arrange key works for the future.

Li Yue, the President of CASIC and a deputy secretary of Party Committee, the executive assistants and the officers of related departments, leader team and offices, officers of the expert team of the Three Year Action and officers of relevant units attended the meeting. Li Yue presided the meeting

The meeting indicated that, since the implementation of the Three Year Action, all units have explored and practiced positively to try all methods to complete the “5+5+1” annual work objectives (full-scale application in five aspects, five leading achievements and the revision of a batch of standards), and a batch of outcomes has been achieved and the move to promote applying these outcomes gradually has been made.

For works of the third quarter, the meeting requires all units to continue to focus on the “5+5+1” annual work target and building the Cloud Application Office All members of CASIC must improve their awareness and unite their thinking to focus on promoting the digital transformation, strengthen their skills and assign resources to guarantee continuous progress, be brave to innovate to promote the digital transformation, make strict plans and stress the evaluation to ensure reaching the annual work target, emphasize services with support of IT and deepen the integration of service and IT support to promote the progressing of work, be open and collaborative and cooperate with each other to render a beautiful state of joint development.

Li applauded the achievements obtained by all departments in the initial stage of the Three Year Action. He also required all members of CASIC to strengthen the top layer design at the beginning of the action, reinforce the ability to implement policies from the top to the bottom and to pinpoint and solve problems from the bottom to the top, use models, data and process to determine how to assign the management responsibility, do a good job in managing and controlling the deviation from target and build a work management mechanism, focus on the leading works, scenarios, application and promotion in working, pay attention to collaboration among all academies to improve capability of collaborative working, strengthen the organization of all units to improve the core R&D capability to lay a solid foundation for all works, stick to the problem-oriented thinking and find and solve problems in work, carry out all works in an organized manner to make CASIC a leading force in the digital transformation and upgrading of military industry and make contributions in making China competitive in technology, quality, space flight and digital technologies.

In the meeting, China Aerospace System Engineering Co., Ltd., the Second Academy and Third Academy, CASIC Sanjiang Group, Sixth Academy, Tenth Academy and Aerospace Communication of CASIC reported their progress, and the second Department of the Second Academy, the 159 Factory of the Third Academy, the Fourth and Ninth Department of the CASIC Sanjiang Group communicated their achievements.
