On September 13, the news release of the 12th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (also known as Airshow China) was held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. Hou Xiufeng, the Secretary of the Board of Directors of CASIC and Press Secretary, attended the news release and introduced the exhibition situation of CASIC.
It is reported that 43 countries and regions will participate in the event, including 770 domestic and foreign exhibitors. The scale of exhibition will break the record.
In terms of the products to be exhibited, the Airshow China is a major breakthrough. It is expected that a batch of internationally sophisticated “high-grade, precise and advanced” products will be exhibited, especially that the structure, level and quality of the products of domestic exhibitors are optimized.
Civil Aviation System, Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC), China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), CASIC, China North Industries Group Corporation Limited, China South Industries Group Co., Ltd., China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETGC), Aero Engine Corporation of China (AECC), China Electronics Corporation (CEC) and China Poly Group Corporation (Poly Group) participate in the exhibition with more new products, technologies, services and achievements. Chinese Air Force and Ground Force will also participate in the exhibition with currently advanced weapons and equipment in active service. In addition, concerned enterprises of domestic ship system will participate in the event with maritime defensive products. By then, the products exhibited on Airshow China will cover the whole field of “l(fā)and, sea, air, space and electronic equipment”.
As a sponsor and an exhibitor, CASIC will take “building a universal offensive and defensive equipment system, guiding the development of commercial spaceflight and sharing cooperation opportunities created by the Road and the Belt” as the theme, focus on “seven major systems and indoor & outdoor products” and systematically show the overall capabilities and main products of air defense system, maritime defense system, air-to-ground strike system, unmanned combat system, early warning surveillance security system, commercial spaceflight system as well as command communication and assistance support system.
There are sufficient highlights of CASIC on the exhibition.
The first one is the large exhibition scale. Referring to major projects promoted in recent years in weapons and equipment, military-civilian integration, commercial spaceflight and other fields, combining the ideas of international development and status of export, the subordinate companies of CASIC prepared nearly hundreds of exhibits of the seven systems to be exhibited, so as to fully show the achievements of CASIC in both offensive and defensive weaponry technologies and research of production systems, and to draw attention of domestic and foreign users. More than ten products will be exhibited for the first time, and the number breaks the record of past exhibitions. They will effectively spread the development idea of “systematized equipment, smart system and practical smart products” and fully demonstrate the progress of CASIC in technical innovation and upgrading of weapons and equipment.
The second one is outdoor exhibition area. In the outdoor exhibition area arranged by CASIC, early warning surveillance equipment and command communication and assistance support system will be exhibited for the first time, which will improve the integrity of exhibited weaponry systems of CASIC.
The third one is the development concept and achievement of “Five Clouds and One Train” commercial aerospace project of CASIC. The simulated exhibition platform of high-speed flying train will be a star on the exhibition.
The fourth one is diverse exhibits that provide interactive experience. On the basis of traditional exhibition modes, certain new exhibition modes and interactive activities are innovated and added to fully improve the exhibition effect and visit experience of the guests, including simulation exhibition, interactive operation, VR experience and onboard visit.
